AIM HIGHER

The Research Communications Office at Wayne State University is part of the Office of the Vice President for Research. Located on the sixth floor of 5057 Woodward, Research Communications provides important research information to the Wayne State community as well as highlight WSU research to diverse and key audiences through a variety of media.

The office publishes New Science magazine, a magazine that features the work of Wayne State researchers on a campus-wide and global scale, as well as a multitude of brochures and summary publications. Research Communications also maintains Wayne State’s research web presence.

Research Communications staff members coordinate special lectures and events throughout the year; design media kits and other resources for various events, meetings and recruiting efforts; author and edit news releases, media advisories and other promotional materials about Wayne State research awards and discoveries; and prepare a monthly newsletter, Research@Wayne, that spotlights faculty accomplishments, funding and commercialization opportunities and other research administration items.
