WSU Nano Symposium Announced - Oct. 4, 2012
Wayne State University is presenting a day-long Nano Multidisciplinary Incubator Program Symposium on October 4, 2011 in the Engineering Auditorium (room 1507), starting at 8:30 a.m. During the symposium, project leaders in the Nano Incubator will provide technical discussions of their collaborative research in nanotechnology and nanomedicine. The intended audience is Wayne State faculty who have participated in the Nano Incubator program and their graduate students and post-docs. Faculty who are interested in developing research in nanotechnology or nanomedicine, or in participating in the activities of the Nano Incubator program, are welcome to attend as well.
The mission of the Wayne State research incubator, “Adaptive Nanomaterials” is to synthesize, assemble, and engineer adaptive nanomaterials for imaging, sensing, and drug delivery. The incubator strives to catalyze scientific innovation and create interdisciplinary training programs through the integration of expertise and resources from across the university, medical center, affiliated research and clinical centers, and industry.
