Durability of nanomaterials and devices/sensors made from nanomaterials. Properties of nanomaterials. Molecular interactions between tissue/cells and inorganic materials or bioactive layer using Monte Carlo simulations. Nanobiocompatibilty. Effect of cell and neuronal growth on nanostructured engineered surfaces. Nanoscale joining issues for encapsulation materials. Nanofluidics, surface interactions and capture of bioorganisms and nanoparticles.
