OSHA Hazard Communication & Global Harmonization System (GHS) Training

The OSHA/MIOSHA Hazard Communication Standard (Right-To-Know Law) is now aligned with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). This update to the Hazard Communication Standard (HazCom) will provide a common and coherent approach to classifying chemicals and communicating hazard information on labels and safety data sheets. TrainingĀ on the changes to labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) is required for all individuals working with chemicals.

To fulfill the training requirements, please complete the slide presentation at this link. The last slide contains a link to a brief quiz and registration form. This must be completed to confirm and document your training.

For laboratory workers, this training is now included in the annual laboratory safety training course.
