Deborah Ellis, Ph.D.

Dr. Ellis is a Professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry at Wayne State University School of Medicine. She received her doctoral degree in child clinical psychology from Michigan State University in 1993 and completed post-doctoral training at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Dr. Ellis has published over 50 peer reviewed publications and co-authored a text on behavioral assessment methods in youth with chronic conditions. In addition, she serves as the Chair of the Behavioral Institutional Review Board at Wayne State University (WSU). She is the recipient of numerous honors and awards, including WSU SOM Excellence in Teaching and Research awards.
