Matthew Larson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at Wayne State University. He received his PhD in Criminology & Criminal Justice in 2013 from from Arizona State University. His research examines the implications of romantic relationships/instability for crime across the life course, violence, and the consequences of incarceration for relationships, families, and health. Matthew previously was invited to the Fragile Families & Family Wellbeing Genetic Data Workshop at Columbia University’s Population Research Center and has since been modifying his research to include greater sensitivity to the intersection of biological and environmental forces.
