Samiran Ghosh, Ph.D.

Dr. Ghosh is a PhD Biostatistician. While he works with many clinicians and basic scientists across the campus and provide statistical support, his statistical methodological research is primarily focused on developing better methods for Intervention/Clinical Trial and Personalized Medicine. Apart from ROBUST he also directs CURES Biostatistics core and his research is currently funded by PCORI and NIH.

Area of Expertise

Dr. Ghosh's methodological research focuses on survival analysis, generalized linear model, multilevel model, model selection in high dimensional data, machine learning and Bayesian paradigm. He is also interested in design and analysis of clinical trials. Especially issues related to missing data, sample size and bias in longitudinal clinical trial are his recent research focus.
