The HIC office has a new member, Matt Aldridge, who joined our office on May 10, 2005. Matt is the new Research Compliance Administrator for the Behavioral IRB (B3) and the Medical/Pediatric 4 IRB (MP4). He is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in English.

His previous research experience includes working in the Office of Vice President for Research (OVPR) as a research assistant and technical writer. One of his accomplishments while working in OVPR was the completion of the Responsible Conduct in Research training modules for vertebrate animals and research misconduct. Matt lives in Southwest Detroit and is active in his community. He recently resigned as the chair of the Hubbard District Citizen’s Counsel.

He will be taking the place previously held by Linda Aiello who has move to a new position within the Human Investigation Committee.
