On September 20, 2005, the Office of the Vice President for Research at WSU will open its conference room doors to the Faculty Commons, a faculty-only meeting place where you can enjoy food and conversation in a casual setting once a month. All faculty members are welcome.

The objective of the Faculty Commons is to promote fellowship, collaboration and scholarship. In some months there will researchers and information on hand related to a theme. The themes will focus on areas of interest to a variety of disciplines, however all faculty members are welcome every month.

The Faculty Commons is scheduled on September 20, October 11, November 8 and December 13 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. The themes for each session are:

December 13-REP Funded IT Research with Special Guest President Irvin D. Reid

All meetings will be held in Conference Room 6202 at 5057 Woodward.
