SPA to Host NIH Webcast
The Wayne State University Sponsored Program Administration office is happy to announce its participation in a webcast sponsored by the National Institutes of Health: “Preparing for NIH Electronic Grant Application”
The focus of the webcast will be on “Lessons Learned” and sharing advice on best practices for submitting applications online.
Anyone who is part of the proposal process for NIH Grants should consider attending one of the two available sessions on Tuesday, December 5, 2006. The morning session (9:00am-Noon) will be held in the Welcome Center Auditorium, while the afternoon session (1:00pm-4:00pm) will take place in the Hudson Webber Wertz Auditorium.
The agenda will be as follows:
15 minutes: Welcome

45 minutes: Overview of NIH Electronic Submission Process
Megan Columbus, NIH Program Manager for Electronic Submission of Grant Applications
60 minutes: A Walk Through the SF424 (R&R) Application
Marcia Hahn, Director, Division of Grants Policy
60 minutes: Lessons Learned: Presented by the Panel
