2006 Thomas N. Bonner Award/Symposium
In the spirit of Professor Bonner’s career as an educator, University President, and renowned historian of medicine and medical education, the prize recognizes the best recent book in English on the theory and practice of the Liberal Arts. In view of Bonner’s own work, special consideration is given to studies bridging the “two cultures” of the sciences and the humanities.
This year’s lecture will be: “ The Future of the Humanities in a Technological Society”, given by Professor John Paul Russo, Department of English, University of Miami
