Dr. Mark Greenwald, Psychiatry, receives $2.5 million grant

Dr. Mark Greenwald, associate professor of Psychiatry, School of Medicine, was awarded $2.5 million from the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment for a program on substance abuse in minorities living with HIV/AIDS.

In a four-year study published in the November issue of the Journal of General Internal Medicine, Professor Bengt Arnetz of the Department of Family Medicine, Division of Occupational and Environmental Health, School of Medicine, and colleagues at Legacy Health System located in Portland, Oregon, evaluated the effects on organizational performance, quality of care, and physician well-being and job satisfaction from an innovative program.
