External Grant Opportunities with Limited Submissions - INTERNAL DEADLINES
There are a number of resesarch grant opportunities with limited submissions available that can be sent from WSU. Interested investigators should submit their internal applications to julie.oconnor@wayne.edu no later than 5:00 p.m. on the due date of the internal application.
Internal applications requirements are: 1) a limited submissions cover page that include the project title, PI and list of co-investigators, contact information of PI, and sponsor program name; 2) a 3 to 5 page project summary; 3) two-page CV of PI, 4) A total project budget estimate; 5) additional supporting information, deemed relevant by investigator (optional)
Selected candidate(s) will be notified by email and must confirm intention to submit a full proposal. If intention to submit is not received, the reviewers will recommend a new candidate. Once confirmation is received, candidates who were not selected will be notified.

Opportunities with December internal review deadlines include:
1) National Science Foundation - Major Research Instrumentation Program - Due internally on December 6, 2007 at 5:00 p.m.
2) Gustavus and Louise Pfeiffer Research Foundation - Projects or programs for advancement of medicine and pharmacy, including scientific research, post-graduate scholarship and fellowship assistance, and studies in nutrition, blindness, deafness and other physical disabilities. The Foundation no longer accepts new applications for cancer or other basic biomedical research. Due internally on December 6, 2007 at 5:00 p.m.
3) NSF General Social Survey Competition - Due internally on November 28, 2007 at 5:00 p.m.
