Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Awards Opportunity

The Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Awards provide seed money for research by junior faculty at Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) which WSU is a member of. These awards are intended to enrich the research and professional growth of young faculty and result in new funding opportunities.

Full-time assistant professors within two years of their initial tenure track appointment (2/1/2006 through 2/1/2008) are eligible to apply.  Two junior faculty members can be submitted for consideration.

To be considered, please send a two page proposal from the nominee, abbreviated resume, and application form in HTML format.  All materials should be sent to Dr. Gloria Heppner via email at research@wayne.edu by January 4, 2008.  Late nominations will not be accepted.  The subject line must read POWE JUNIOR FACULTY NOMINATION.
