NSF seeks proposals for the Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship Program, which is designed to meet the challenges of educating U.S. Ph.D. scientists and engineers for 21st Century research. 

DUE DATES:

IGERT Traineeship preliminary proposals due April 24, 2008

IGERT Resource Center full proposals due April 24, 2008

IGERT Traineeship full proposals (by invitation only) due October 20, 2008

LIMITS: 

There is a limit of four (4) preliminary proposals that may be submitted by an institution either as a single institution or as a lead institution in a multi-institution traineeship preliminary proposal.  For consideration, please submit a one page request with brief project details, and an abbreviated CV for the PI or co-PI to Julie O’Connor at ag2712@wayne.edu by March 7, 2008.  Selected faculty will be notified by March 14.
