INPHAASE RFP Announced
The Office of the Vice President for Research and Henry Ford Health System are pleased to announce the 2010 Institute for Population Studies, Health Assessment, Administration, Services and Economics (INPHAASE) RFP.
INPHAASE is an inter-institutional, coordinated effort to bring together and integrate the faculty of WSU and HFHS with research expertise devoted to:
- Understanding the biological and social bases for health disparities among populations of differing demographics, including ethnicity, gender, age and economic status;
- Testing alternative strategies to overcoming reasons for these disparities; and
- Developing health and information management systems to support efforts to eliminate disparities.
The focus of this year's competition is Environmental Health Sciences. Note that health - human health, in particular - is a key requirement of the proposal, and the addition of a clinician scientist to the research team is usually desirable.
An informational meeting will be held on November 17, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. in room 6202 in 5057 Woodward. The full RFP with details can viewed at http://research.wayne.edu/funding/internal-funding/2010_inphaase_rfp_final.pdf.
