Nano@Wayne November Seminars

The Office of the Vice President for Research invite all faculty, staff and students to attend the next John P. Oliver Nano @ Wayne Seminar on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at the EDC Auditorium - 1507 Engineering Building. The guest speaker will be Dr. Bulent Mutus, professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Windsor. Dr. Mutus will speak on, "Gold Nanoparticle-Based Methods for Characterizing Thiols."

On Tuesday, November 17th at 2:30 p.m. at the Welcome Center Auditorium located at 42 West Warren Ave., Dr. Vladimir Mitin, SUNY distinguished professor and chair of Electrical Engineering at the University of Buffalo will speak on, "Quantum-dot Photodetectors: In Search of Optimal Design for Room-Temperature Operation."

A reception will immediately follow both presentations.
