Register for the RoBUST 3rd Annual Fall Symposium - Biobehavioral Health Interventions - Sept. 29

Researchers of Biobehavioral health in Urban Settings Today - RoBUST - are hosting their 3rd annaul fall symposium, Biobehavioral Health Interventions, on Friday, September 29, 2017 at the McGregor Conference Center, located on Wayne State University's Campus. The seminar is free, but registration is limited and required. To register, see the link below.

Over the course of the day, there will be a series of keynotes from leaders in the field who work with biobehavioral health interventions initiatives across the nation, including Drs. Jose Bauermeister of the University of Pennsylvania ("Linking geospatial and digital environments in HIV prevention and care: Is there an app for that?"), David Creswell of Carnegie Mellon University ("Mindfulness Interventions and Health"), David W. Wetter of University of Utah ("Developing Tobacco Cessation Interventions to Increase both Reach and Efficacy Among Underserved Populations"), and Elissa Jelalian of Alpert Medical School of Brown University ("From Efficacy Testing to Dissemination: Taking Obesity Treatment Interventions to Scale").

Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all attendees in order to promote opportunities for collaborative discussions. This year's conference will also include the return of "speed networking." This session is designed to foster innovative transdisciplinary collaborations.
