In accordance with a memo sent by President Wilson to faculty on February 9, 2015, a new Indirect Cost Recovery (ICR) allocation formula will go into effect October 1, 2015:

 

Central Pool: 49%

 

Research Stimulation: 24%

 

Research Facilities: 9%

 

Department: 8%

 

School/College: 5%

 

Investigators: 5%

 

This allocation will apply to new awards and competing renewals with an award date after October 1, 2015.*

 

For continuing awards (e.g. non-competing continuations), the allocation of ICR will be in accordance with the formula in place at the time of the initial award:

 

Central Pool:  57%

 

Research Stimulation: 10%

 

Research Facilities: 7%

 

Department: 11.5%

 

School/College: 7.5%

 

Investigators: 7% 

 

 

*Award date is based on the date of the award notice, not the budget start date or project period start date.
