Let us make you famous!
We are pleased to announce accomplishments of our faculty! If you have an idea for a research story you would like to see featured in Wayne State University's internal news, on the research website or as a press release, please fill out one of the forms below and email it to Julie O'Connor, director of research communications at ag2712@wayne.edu. Ideas for research stories include:
- Prominent professional awards or honors.
- Soon-to-be-published or recently published research findings. If possible, please submit story ideas related to research findings upon acceptance of the paper rather than after publication. Should we decide to pursue this as a news story, this helps to ensure that we have some much-needed lead time to increase the story’s chances of gaining external visibility.
- Significant new grant-funded research initiatives or projects.
- Significant renewed grant funding that includes research accomplishments made to date.
- Interesting/impactful research being done by an early-career researcher (graduate student/postdoc/assistant professor).
We are especially looking for story ideas related to peer-reviewed research that could be easily understood by non-scientists and may be of interest to a broad audience.
