Funding Opportunity: NSF Releases Updated ExLENT Solicitation
The National Science Foundation (NSF) Directorates for Technology, Innovation, and Partnership (TIP) and STEM Education (EDU), in partnership with Micron Technology, Inc. (Micron) through the Micron Foundation, released an updated solicitation for the Experiential Learning for Emerging and Novel Technologies (ExLENT) program. The ExLENT program provides funding to support experiential learning opportunities that increase access to emerging technology careers for individuals no matter their educational or career background. Like the original solicitation, the current ExLENT solicitation supports proposals across three tracks, all focused on individuals with different levels of STEM education or workforce experience.
Information on the funding tracks, proposal expectations, differences from previous ExLENT solicitations, and requirements for submission is included in the link below. NSF will hold a webinar on the updated solicitation on December 13th at 1:00 p.m. and the deadline for full proposals is February 24, 2025.
