DLAR would like to acknowledge the tremendous accomplishments of Linda Walowicz and Debra Ashcraft, who are retiring from DLAR after over 80 combined years of service. Both worked their way up through this program. Most recently, Linda served as a veterinary technologist in DLAR, overseeing import/export, Anesthetic machine maintenance, and procurement. Deb has been our facility manager for many years, and developed a wonderful knowledge of DLAR’s equipment and coordinating repairs with FP&M. I know that they have touched various parts of the WSU research program throughout their many years here! DLAR is excited for Linda and Deb’s new adventure in life, and equally excited for the new opportunities that their departures create for our DLAR colleagues.
