Internal funding opportunities
To support and encourage research endeavors at the university, the Office of the Vice President for Research offers a variety of internal research funding opportunities for which faculty are eligible to compete. External funding opportunities
Wayne State University subscribes to GrantForward, a searchable funding and grant recommendation service. GrantForward helps Wayne State faculty find grant opportunities that suit their research needs with a database of grants from over 20,000 sponsors, which is updated daily. To learn more, visit our external funding opportunities web page. Limited submissions
Some external grant opportunities for faculty researchers have limits on institutional submissions. In those cases, internal competitions are organized by the Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR). Limited submission funding opportunities and details on how to apply internally are listed on the Division of Research's Limited Submissions website.
