The Division of Laboratory Animal Resources (DLAR) is pleased to announce they are acquiring a large animal radiograph (X-Ray) machine, to be housed in Elliman. This will be a state-of-the-art unit that can provide detailed radiographs of all large animal patients, down to the size of a guinea pig. Once installed, it is anticipated it will be used for clinical diagnostic purposes, but there will be additional opportunities to utilize this technology for research purposes as well. 

Currently, DLAR is working with Facilities Planning & Management to prepare the room for installation of the radiograph unit, and we anticipate completed installation within the first half of 2024.
