This is a reminder to all researchers that the Division of Laboratory Animal Resources (DLAR) Veterinary Tech Services (VTS) must manage all live animal imports and exports on behalf of the WSU research community.  This includes domestic and international live animal shipments. This also includes live animals recovered from rederivation, cryopreservation, and genetic manipulation by approved vendors.

Please submit all import and export requests to dlarvts@wayne.edu. Once received, DLAR will initiate the process on your behalf and work with coordinators of the other institutions/vendors to review health records, perform any additional testing, and arrange transportation.
