Wayne State University's Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) is comprised of 16 regular members, two alternates and three consultants. The IACUC includes veterinarians, scientists that are experienced in conducting animal research, as well as non-scientists and non-affiliated individuals. In addition, one member also a represents the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center. Individuals from the following departments currently serve on the committee:
